Who Knew!?

I was recently shocked to learn that not only are a couple of my books being read in select schools across the nation, but children, actual living, breathing children have begun to write book-reports about me and my work. Who knew!?

One such living, breathing child contacted me with a bevy of rather personal questions - which I’m certain will soon find there way into some literature tabloid next to a picture of me eating a sandwich. Well, I won’t have it! Instead you can hear it direct from the source… (That means me)

Full Name: John Joseph DePalma Jr. – But you can call me Johnny.
Where were you born: Los Gatos, CA on a very rainy day.
Where do you write: In my office surrounded by stacks and stacks of books.
What are you writing now: My very first book for adults - It’s a novella (which means short novel) entitled Trinity Twelve.
Do you have any pets: Two actually. A dog named Molly and a Cat named Thomas.
Do you really have to wear those glasses: Yes! I am quite blind without them.
Favorite Food: All types of cheese and honey. I like to consider myself an amateur connoisseur of both.
Favorite Drink: A nice warm cup of tea.
Favorite Day of the Week: Wednesday
Favorite Month of the year: December
Favorite Animal: Elephants and Giraffes are equally splendid - but I’ll include the whole zoo so that no ones offended.
Favorite Authors: Roald Dahl, Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, Christopher Durang, Tom Robbins, David Sedaris & Ayun Halliday
Favorite TV Shows: The Vicar of Dibley is quite clever.
Favorite Color: Purple
Favorite Movie: Mary Poppins (In fact, not to get into a terribly long story, but, if not for Mary Poppins I might never have been born) In fact, our Umbrelly symbol is an homage to Mary Poppins famous Umbrella.
Favorite Music: Bing Crosby
Favorite Mode of Transportation: By Hot Air Balloon or by old fashion Steamboat.
